Multiply the LENGTH of the tank by the WIDTH of the tank – E.g, 22 Inches x 20 Inches 440 Inches. Next, divide your answer by 10 – E.g, 440 10 44 Finally, convert your answer into kilograms (kg) to work out how much gravel you would need (divide by 2.2) – E.g, 44 2.2 20kg! The gravel may have a chemical smell upon delivery. This is due to the dyes used within the stones. This product is perfectly safe to use once pre-washed before adding to your fish tank or aquarium.
